Hey everyone! I hope all of you are doing well! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year too! I’ve haven’t been on at all last year and life has been keeping me busy with school, so I haven’t been active as much as I wanted to. Plus, I miss liveblogging Toonami with everyone on Saturdays, though I do check the tag from time to time and still like posts. I’m going to try to start posting again when I can. I hope 2019 will be good for everyone!
Another night of Toonami ends! A pretty good night overall. Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2nd Gig returns to the block! We also had a new Toonami music video shown, a teaser for the Countdown event and a promo for next week’s Samurai Jack Halloween marathon. With all that out of the way, let’s recap:
Dragon Ball Super starts off with Vegeta facing off against Hit, but he soon gets eliminated due to his unnaturally quick attacks. With that, Goku is back in the tournament to face off against Hit.
Dragon Ball Z Kai has Goku meet up with Gohan training with the Kais while Piccolo continues training Goten and Trunks to perfect the fusion dance. Of course, Buu is still destroying cities, but he does meet a young blind boy who isn’t afraid of him.
JJBA: Stardust Crusaders has Joseph facing off against the stand, The Empress, who is attached to his arm. With his great strategy, he outwits the stand and destroyed both it and her user.
Gundam IBO Season 2 has the Tekkaden crew face off against a group of pirates when they try to meet up with a trader.
Hunter x Hunter has the conclusion of that intense dodgeball game! With Gon, Killua and Hisoka’s teamwork, they defeat Razor and Gon gets a chance to learn more about his father. They also ended up getting a much-needed card. But with Genthru still out there, the group is given three weeks for Killua to heal up and Gon to train more.
Lupin the 3rd Part 4 has Lupin and the group take a day to relax, but it turns out to be quite busy when they must return a dog to her owner. Between getting chased by Zenigata again, car troubles and many stops, what should have been an easy-going day is anything but.
Naruto Shippuden finishes up with Naruto’s flashback as Naruto runs into trouble with the Waterfall Village’s ninjas. However, Iruka arrives just in time to save Naruto while Kakashi apprehends them.
Outlaw Star has a bit of tension flare up between Gene and Jim. They go after a bounty named Zomba who has a huge reward, but they only find his cyborg copy and get a smaller amount. Suzuka found the real Zomba and gets the larger amount instead.
Cowboy Bebop has the crew hunt down a bounty named Decker who deals in explosives. Meanwhile Spike meats a cargo pilot named V.T. who helps with their mission despite her huge hatred of bounty hunters.
GITS SAC: 2nd GIG has Section 9 return after being disbanded for 2 years. They encounter a group of terrorists that call themselves the Individual Eleven and are asked by the prime minister to solve the problem without causing casualties to the hostages inside. With the mission successful, the team is once again a law enforcement unit. The Tachikomas also make their return as well.

Whelp, Decker’s sure as gone now. So much for that bounty. Now they just have to worry about escaping.
All that time getting that Josephine to her owner and she decides to leave again. Oh well. At least she found new owners and the rest of them get to eat, so it works out.
Well, that’s a change of pace, which might not last for long. And a cute dog! But where did it come from?
Wow, that was a really smart plan! And Polnareff somewhat dogged a bullet there with that girl.
