Cosmicolor Future

Another run is complete! Another night of Toonami is finished! This week was pretty high on the action, with some comedy, suspense and drama thrown in for good measure. We also got a video game review of Metro: Light Light, which got a score of 8.0.

Now, onto this runs recap!

We start off with Bleach as Ichigo starts to train in this series version of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and meets with a different version of his sword. Meanwhile, Aizen makes it into the real world… In Naruto, the fighting continues in The Forest of Death! A whole bunch of “That’s not the person I know!” goes on between Naruto and Sasuke as their face off with an enemy ninja continues. Also those same mysterious ninja had their corpses taken and their faces stolen?! One Piece has Zoro and Sanji take part in the second event in the Davy Back Fight, however they have a little trouble with teamwork, the other team and the referee! With Soul Eater, it’s the second Excalibur episode! A lot went on and a lot of things took place. That’s the best I can say on that! In IGPX, Team Satomi and Team Skylark face off on the race track! Takashi tries not to let his emotions about fighting against Fantine get the best of him and it hesitates him, but Takashi gets the job done and wins it for Team Satomi! He and Fantine get a bit closer as well. In Eureka 7, while I missed some parts, there was definitely a lot of action and quite the bit of drama and suspense. Through it all, however, Renton and Eureka make it to the other side of the Wall… In Thundercats, the team end up helping out a village of elephants, who in return helps Lion-O in finding a stone that will aid him in his quest. In Sym-Bionic Titan, Lance join a band and the Army brings out a spy to the high school  to find out about any information on Titan. In Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, I’d missed parts of it again, however, it was a pretty good episode, with quite the bits of drama and feels. Kimblee also makes his appearance. Cowboy Bebop has Spike and Co make a trip to Venus and Spike helps out Rocco who seems to have some trouble with some bad guys currently after him. We end the night with Inuyasha with being introduced to Momiji and Botan, two priestesses in training in who work with Tsubaki and try to slow down Inuyasha and company from going any further and later on Inuyasha, Kagome, Lady Kaede and Sango face off against Tsubaki again and she turns into a powerful ogre in order to gain eternal life. However, she is defeated.

And with that, another night closes out. But, join us next week, for when it opens up a whole new night of stories and adventures! As always, I enjoy spending my Saturday livebloging with everyone and will be back here next week to do it all over again. See you next weekend and enjoy your week!

See you soon!

Hm. I don’t remember this episode. I’ve don’t think I’ve watched this one.

That’s a lot of hope that’s on Renton and Eureka’s shoulders.

Wait. What. Holland… Did he just… (after the next episode preview shown, he’s OK. Wow, he survived. That’s amazing.)

And then showing the Charles and Ray flashbacks…

That was a lot to take in all at once.

Geez. Every time it get’s more ridiculous. Spiky cleats, axes… The refs certainly looking towards the other teams favor and allowing them to get away with it.

Zoro and Sanji got totally mess up though…

That’s crazy. Corpses with no faces where faces are supposed to be. That’s unsettling…

Wow, Tensa Zangetsu is pretty handsome.

Hello everyone! It’s 12:00! Time for Toonami to begin!

So, Tumblr e-mailed me this today. It turns out that Cosmicolor Future turned 2 today! Really? It’s been 2 years already? Who knew! This little blog of mine has moved quite a bit since I started, kinda slowly at times, but I definitely found a footing and an idea of where it’s going. Thinking about it now, compared to 2 years ago, it’s actually an improvement. A good start. Now to keep it up.

Anyway, for anyone who liked, rebloged, read/watched any posts or generally just stopped by, many thanks! ^_^

Another night of Toonami is finished and another 6 hour challenge is completed. Lots of action, adventure, fun, romance, too many continuous Hot Pocket dings and one hot tub near the end and you get what today’s Toonami run was kinda like.

It’s time for a recap! Let’s see, shall we?

Bleach had Aizen nearing his completed transformation and with most of his allies in critical danger, Ichigo is about to learn a new technique that might just be able to help him out. In Naruto, the fights in The Forest of Death continues with Sasuke and Sakura face off against rival ninjas and many, many fake Naruto’s, while the real Naruto gets eaten by a giant snake. One Piece continues in the Davy Back Fight when the Doughnut Race ends when Nami and her team almost make it to the finish line, but Foxy uses his special ability and lets his team win the first round. Soul Eater continues with Death the Kid and Crona concluding their battle from the last episode. Meanwhile, Maka meets up with Medusa to have a check up, Stein has a hunch that Medusa might be more than she appears, Sid finds some important information and Death the Kid ask Lord Death what’s really going on as things turn quite serious. IGPX seemed like a bit of a breather episode and a festival with all of the racers took place. In Eureka 7, we get a chance to learn about Norb and Sakuya and how their relationship falls in place within the current events. Thundercats had the Berbils episode, as they helped the tribe of Birbils after learning that the villains are destroying their home and using them to build weapons. In Sym-Bionic Titan, when everyone, including Lance and Ilana is stuck in a type of frozen time, Octus must find a way to reverse it. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has Edward visiting Hawkeye and she tells him about how she became a State Alchemist and her actions along with the other State Alchemists during the course of the Ishbalan War. Cowboy Bebop has Spike and the rest of the Bebop crew learn about a possible tip of a wanted bounty’s next appearance and meets up with the famed VT and asks for her help with finding the bounty. Finally, Inuyasha ends the night with Kagome still affected after being under the curse of Tsubaki’s shards. As Inuyasha and company proceed into battle with Tsubaki. Kagome seems to fall into a deep sleep but she endures the dream long enough to see pass the illusion and with her friends fight off Tsubaki and break the curse placed on Kagome.

Add in all of that, plus a new music video and finding another Mr. Scruff song in IGPX and it was a good time all around. Another night well worth watched.

And so, I look forward to next week when it all starts again. As always, I had a great time. See you again next week.
