If anything, this event made me happy to not only know that I wasn’t the only fan of Sailor Moon, but if anything, I can now confirm that there are actually fans in/around my area who love it just as much as I do. Me and my friend got there and stayed for the whole event, even though it was hard to stand in such a small place with a whole bunch of other fans. But, hands down, this has been one of the best and funnest weekends I had so far and I only hope that I can get to go into the city more often to do these types of events. I did a lot: met a lot of cool people, I got the first volume of Sailor Moon (but not Sailor V, but I’ll get that one soon), I won a grab bag in the trivia contest, there was a cosplay contest with some really good costumes (and reminded me that I need to at least do a Sailor Moon cosplay when I get a chance), met an awesome group who’s doing an independent, live action Sailor Moon movie and me and my friend got interview by a television crew during the event (which I hope I can find, because they left too fast for me to ask where I should I catch it on.) If I knew we could being the toy accessories, I would of bought my Cutie Moon Rod from Sailor Moon R and Chibimoon’s Pink Sugar Wand with me (but I will post pictures, now that I reminded myself.) Anyway, I have a whole bunch of pictures and a few videos from Saturday’s event that I’ll be separately putting up sometime between tomorrow or a few days or so. I also have some pictures of Forbidden Planet that I taken. The place is pretty big, with the first floor being comics and the second floor is where the Manga and Anime is and where the event took place. I would have taken a lot more but my phone’s battery was starting to die out. At least I now know a place where I can travel in the city to find some good comics and manga and some really nice events. All in all, it was very awesome and fun event and I hope to see many of these people soon at another event one of these days.
