Cosmicolor Future

And with this, another Toonami run is finished! Well, this was a fun one! I have never laughed so much as tonight’s run made me, and all the going on’s in the tag definitely made it very enjoyable. There also seemed to be a shared theme of innuendo, test taking and a dislike of math throughout some of the shows as it ran it’s course. We also got a neat One Piece promo since it’ll be on the line up next week, which many people are looking forward too (myself included.)

So with that out of the way, here’s a recap:

Bleach started by seeming to finish up it’s last set of recaps, as we learn about how every event happened through Aizen with the Hogyoku, while Gin and Ichigo fight it out, with Kisuke appearing at the end. Naruto gets into the first part of the Chunin Exams, by taking a entrance exam, only to find out they have to try and cheat without getting caught and we see some very inventive ways of cheating on an exam. In Soul Eater, we’re introduced to Eruka Frog and Mizune and Maka vows to become stronger while she learns how to cope with her fears about Soul’s injury. Thundercats has Panthro joining the group as well as learning a bit of flashback of him and Grune. IPGX has Team Satomi go against Team Black Egg (as well as a few egg puns). Eureka 7 gets to explain something important (which, try as we might, didn’t understand all that well), but that gave away to skyfish attacking and some other things. Tenchi Muyo! GXP had it’s final episode, which was a onslaught of craziness. Sym-Bionic Titan has “Shake It, Bake It, Booty Quake It” and other awesome stuff which will never get old. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood had Ed, Ling and Envy find their way out of their current situation and Ed makes a promise to come back to get Alphonse. Cowboy Bebop introduces us to Faye as they search for a special casino chip. As for Inuyasha, I didn’t keep up with it, but I did notice that he did get an attack upgrade with the Backlash Wave with the Tessaiga.

Alright! Well, that’s it for now. But, I look forward to being here again next time. Next week seems pretty exciting and only more good things could possibly come out of it.

See you soon

That last part was really well done, if not just very emotional. Just having Ed breaking through that door and telling Al that he’s going to come back for him someday, really hits you.

I’m still kinda reeling from Tenchi, but “Bake It, Shake It, Booty Quake It” quickly changed that. That whole scene is just funny, but the “No!” really seals it. This will never get old.

And then suddenly, Metal! This is perfect. Just what I needed.

OK. Really…That just happened. All I heard was beeps…

…Alright then… I guess that how this series finishes…

So, it’s the last episode of Tenchi Muyo! GXP. Well, this show was…”interesting”, to say the least, but at least we get to see how it finishes.

And it didn’t take long for things to escalate quickly as always.

I wasn’t expecting seeing all of those attacking skyfish so quickly.

“Find the weak spot and crack the egg.”

Well, there’s the egg pun.

Test taking is serious business. I like how everyone had their creative way of cheating. There’s no way this would fly in a regular school/college setting though, obviously. Floating sand, eyeballs, yeah… Wouldn’t work so well…

It’s crazy to learn how everything came to be through one person’s plan alone. But this is quite a lot of information to take in.

Hello everyone. Another run of Toonami is starting now!
